Flower Fields in Carlsbad, California

Yesterday we went down to Carlsbad to visit the gorgeous flower fields.  They are especially known for their massive fields of ranunculas but the entire area is spectacular.  Here are a few of the pictures I took.  Enjoy the beauty!!!  On a personal note... I am loving my new Canon Rebel... lovin' it!!!

Of course, we need an "intro"

The 50 acres of Giant Tecolote Ranunculus flowers at The Flower Fields cascade down the hillside in a spectacular display of color that is sure to take your breath away. New and past visitors will be stunned at our fields of color overlooking the Pacific Ocean.

And a couple of the magnificent hanging pots

I think this is an Iceland Poppy

More garden areas

The roses are especially gorgeous!!

Beds of ivy geraniums

Well, somebody has to do all the work :-)
