Hi Friends
Yay... it's graduation time for so many. A time of satisfaction for all they've accomplished and a time of excitement for what the future may hold. But, first and foremost, it's a time to CELEBRATE. I wanted to share this card - well, I actually made two - so far. I saw this image on Pinterest but the pinner had not provided the name of the stamp. I'm a big Penny Black fan so I recognized it right away but had to have Mr. Google ferret it out for me. It's Penny Black "The scholar". I just got it the other day and I just love this little hedgie throwing his cap in the air.
I kept the card simple since the recipients are male ... except I had to add the bow! Hedgie is stamped with Memento tuxedo black and colored with copics. I see now that the sentiment is a bit "wonky" but I think it's ok since it sort of mirrors the action. Here they are side by side...
and, as usual, my assistant needed to approve them.
Simple little cards but I think they are cute. Hope you do too!
