New Catalog SAS

Hi Everyone

Last Saturday my friend and I went to a fabulous SAS featuring all new product from Stampin' Up's new catalog.  I still need to put some finishing touches on a couple of them but here are the ones I completed.  Love that we used the sets to pretty up the insides too.

This one is from Butterfly Basics - not new, but always classic!  This is the new color "Delightful Dijon".  Still not sure about this color ... but I do like this card.

This one is a 'pull out' card within a card.  The front is attached at the sides, forming a pocket.  The set is 'Build a Birthday'... a really versatile set

I think this one is my favorite.  It uses 'Sprinkles of Life'.  My last blog used the cupcake from this set... now it is punched out as a cloud instead of frosting... love it!!!  The sunburst inside is from 'Kinda Eclectic'.  The camera didn't pick it up but the lettering and edges of the cloud are embossed with silver.  Too bad it really doesn't show  =(  sorry.

For this card we used the 'Hello You' thinlits and then stamped 'Painted Petals' in plum to create our background.  It is matted on 'perfect plum' as well.

This next card uses 'World of Dreams' for the front part and sentiment and 'Serene Silhouettes' create the birds on the branch inside.

I'll finish this post by saying................

So happy you took the time to stop by...  enjoy your day.

Sprinkles of Life cupcakes

Hi Friends

I'm excited to share my cards with you today.  I used all new product from Stampin' Up!s new catty. I love the new in-colors (well, mostly =^..^=).  I used the new stamp set "Sprinkles of Life" which is also the Ronald McDonald charity stamp for the year.  That's a good thing :-).  This set has so much versatility and for this card I opted to go for the cupcakes.  I also used my new Tree punch which punches out the cupcake tops... love that.

Isn't it neat?  I also used the new paper pack "Cherry on Top" found on p. 144.

Love the bright, summery colors.  Ok, so here's my card.  I needed 15 so I wasn't able to do them all in one color but they are otherwise the same,  I used the card stock color pack which is sold separately but is designed to go with the dsp... it's very convenient to have all the cs needed to complement the pack. It comes in  watermelon wonder, cucumber crush and bermuda bay.

I used daffodil delight around the circle and the ribbon is summer starfruit.  My circle nestabilities were used for the circle and scalloped circle and the embossing folder used is dotted swiss.

During the process, I apparently exhausted my assistant...

Poor thing

That's it for today... I hope you like my cheerful little card.  Thanks for visiting
