May Crazy Card Club
Hi friends...
I hope you're having a great day. It's definitely Spring around here and I think this card is very 'springy'.
It card was so easy and fun to do. Our theme for May (in our 'crazy card club') was to make a thank you card ... no other criteria involved. I really enjoyed one of the cards we made at Pam's SAS in March using daubers to create a scene. I thought I'd give this a shot. I made a template using one of the large ovals and placed it over the center of my card. Actually, first I ran it through the big shot with the tulip border embossing folder. Then, keeping the template in place, I used the daubers to create this pastel background for my floral.
The colors I used were so saffron, blushing bride and pistachio pudding. The flowers are part of the Happy Watercolor set and the 'thank you' came from one of my Flourishes sets. I thought the font and the size fit the card perfectly. Such a simple card to create and I think it turned out pretty.
Hope you've enjoyed this little post and will come back soon!
Happy Spring!!!
