Thinking of You, Girlie
Hi Friends
Happy Friday the 13th. Are you superstitious? Nah, I'm not either... especially since my birthday is Nov. 13 and it sometimes falls on a Friday... no prob.
Today's card is very girlie with all the floral and soft colors. This card is for the Color Throwdown this week ... see it here ... and we were to use Cool Caribbean, Kiwi Kiss, Pink Pirouette, and Regal Rose. Such a gorgeous combination!! I'm also entering this card in the Tuesday Morning Sketch ... details here ... I liked the sketch and it fit my idea for a card. The only problem is (and it's a biggie), there was a twist this week - to make it masculine. Ummm? Could I be any further away? Well, what can I say, I didn't notice that little twist. Oh well, going to enter it anyway - it should stand out from the crowd at least, right? Hahaha. Here's my card...
The only stamping that went on this card was the 'thinking of you' from SU's Teeny Tiny Wishes. The rest of my card is Spellbinders "Jewel Flowers and Flourishes" ... it's brand new (to me) and I couldn't wait to use it. The patterned paper is from ages ago from Stampin' Up's 'What a Girl' kit ... really, I'm not sure what it was called, it was so long ago but the colors were spot on and I liked the effect.
Well, guess that's about it for today.... I hope you like my card and will come back again soon. With so many blogs out there, I'm thrilled you took the time to visit mine.
Have a great weekend!!!
