Sweet Sunday Sketch (SSSC221) and The Paper Players challenge (#198)
I made this card for either a wedding card or an anniversary... it would work for both. This is for the challenge at The Paper Players - you'll find the details here - to make a card for a wedding or anniversary. I used the sketch from Karen Giron's Sweet Sunday sketch shown here so I am entering this card in both challenges.
I used crisp cantaloupe and coastal cabana for my colors. The cantaloupe cardstock was dry embossed with the baroque embossing folder in my big shot. The background dsp is actually from an old set I had that is groovy guava! I guess if you hang onto stuff long enough it comes back into style :-). The groovy guava and the crisp cantaloupe are really so close in color. The band dsp is Sweet Sorbet from sale a bration. The stamp sets I used are Label Love (Mr. and Mrs), Chalk Talk in coastal cabana, and Flower Shop punched with the Pansy Punch.
I stamped Mr. and Mrs. in versamark clear and then sprinkled with silver embossing powder, heat embossed it, and popped it up over a piece of crisp cantaloupe ruffled ribbon A pretty button with some twine finishes the look. You like? Leave me a comment?

Wowza, this looks like a honeymoon to the Bahamas....beautiful tropical colors, gorgeous embellishments and stunning images....I love how you mixed the two sets together...they go perfectly! And yes, I was thinking about Groovy Guava just the other day and how close it was to Crisp Cantaloupe. Just beautiful! Thanks so much for playing along with the Players this week!
