Hexagon Hive die
Hexagon Hive thinlit die by Stampin' Up!
Have you tried this die? I just received mine and the first time I was trying it out to show a friend, I put it upside down on my magnetic plate!!! Yikes, what a dummy! Talk about panic! But the plate is fine, thank goodness... it is etched, though... I don't recommend this goofus move. Here are some ideas using this thinlit die to get you started. Notice you don't always have to use the whole die... you can use just 'pieces and parts' of it and come up with some very artistic creations.
I love that she used just a piece of the die and embellished it very simply with the butterfly. Don't you think it is striking?
Cindee uses it here in it's entirety. So pretty with the Watercolor Wonder dsp behind it.
Petite Petals are such a good match (size-wise) for this die.
Tracie used the die on the dsp and put the solid color cardstock behind it. Looks great - another way to use it.
I hope you are inspired to try this thinlit, that I call a "die" :-). Guess what? Bonus time! Remember the hive embossing folder? The pieces that come out of the hexagon hive die fit perfectly!!! Just keeps getting better and better, huh?
Ok, I'll be back soon. Enjoy your weekend!!
Hugs, Pat
