Happy Easter to my girls
Today's post is all about the pop up box cards that I made for our daughters and their family! I thought I'd mail them early so they can enjoy them before Easter. Who knows... they might end up as a decoration on the Easter dinner table? I really had fun making them and took a bunch of pictures. Here are the two of them side by side.
and, from another angle...
I used my instructions from several posts ago - these are the small boxes that fit into an A2 envelope. Well, maybe... mine are so full I think I'll need to use the next size up. Stampin' Up! makes a large envelope which should be perfect. The dsp I used is Polka Dot Parade - I sure hope they keep that one around a long time - it makes the cutest projects. 'Course, I really love polka dots so it's a no-brainer for me.
Here's Mr. Bunneh ... In case you can't figure out the punches used... here they are. I used the ornament punch for the head and the body, the large oval and large scalloped oval for the ears and feet, and the 1/4" made the eyes, nose, and mouth. The eyes and mouth are tucked under the 3/4" circles which make the cheeks. Do you love him? He hopes so.
The daisies are from Spellbinders and the leaves are from SU's secret garden dies. I also used my picket fence die from My Favorite things and my Fiskars grass punch. The little chicken popping out of the egg is part of my new 'Hello Spring' from Taylored Expressions. Check back in a few days ... I'll have the pictures from my granddaughters' cards posted later this week. Yep... they are done with the Hello Spring.
I hope you've enjoyed today's post and will give this project a try. I had so much fun adding all the "stuff" to them... I think I could have gone on for days ... really fun.
Be back in a few days with more Easter cards.
Have fun stamping!!!!
