Here is the card I made for the second week of Verve's Friday challenges using Verve's Beautiful Kindness stamp set. I can't believe I actually had this done on time... 'course it didn't get posted until today, but I think I'll celebrate anyway! I chose the 3rd photo... here it is.
I wanted to keep it fairly simple to focus on the sentiment and the flowers but I did get carried away with the glitter Stickles... just a "little'. I used a new matstack I just got from Michael's by DCWV called Citrus. There are some very pretty colors in it... very summery. I used my Cuttlebug to cut out the oval Spellbinder's Nestie (oval and scalloped oval) and then just did my cutting and assembling. I used the dauber with a lime green chalk to sponge some color inside the oval before I stamped my sentiment.
I did take a few liberties with the 3 brad arrangement in the upper quad of the sample because I wanted to use my new Daisy Doodles flowers - I'll just imagine the brads exploding into the big flower :-).
Have a super day and thanks for dropping in!
Patty
