Pansy Birthday

This week has just flown by.  Maybe because I have been making cards and projects like an over-caffeinated hamster - now that's pretty hyper!!  I am a fan club member at Splitcoast Stampers and I kept hearing about this Dare to get Dirty "gala" and I hadn't looked into it until I got a feed email from Suzanne Dean who said she had to keep the details a secret... but... if you were a fan club member you could click on a link and find out all those mysterious details!  That sparked my curiousity!  I can't divulge what each challenge was either, but I can tell you there were 33 of them and I did 'em all.... big woohoo please!   thank you, thank you (*bowing*).

This card was one of them but I used the sketch from Mondays Mojo149... great sketch... I chose the round card.

Sorry, this one loaded sideways... again!  Don't know why it sometimes does that...
For my card I used my largest scallop circle nestability being careful not to cut the top since that will be the 'hinge' on my card.  Then I cut my lavender cs and the designer paper (Tea Party by SU! - retired) with the plain circle. The image is from  "A Year of Flowers" by Flourishes.  After cutting the paper in half I added some white ribbon (Michael's) and cut out my wild wasabi paper for the green accents. The little birthday image is from "Birthday Surprise" by Verve.  I think I got a little carried away with all the bows... but, on the other hand,  I think it's kind of cute.  Better give thie one to a female, right?

Thanks for spending some of your day with me.... see you soon.

Patty

  2. Lovely card. I have had this problem with a photo always loading on it's side. I cured it by re-saving it not as a JPEG but as a PNG file and uploading this to Blogger instead. Hope this helps.
