Mojo Monday 147

Happy Monday Everyone

Today I want to share with you a card I made for the Color Throwdown 100'th anniversary.  You can find all the details here  I've been meaning to play for some time... this was a bunch of fun!  I chose Verve's Fluttering by since my paper had that little butterfly on it!  Not to mention, I totally love this set.  I used the sketch from Mojo Monday 147 so that means I've actually made it on time this week... woohoo!  I started by stamping the little butterflies with regal rose ink, cutting them out, giving them their little antennae and added some silver stickles to the body.  I think this paper is really pretty and it has all the colors of the throwdown... regal rose, baja breeze, real red, and certainly celery (or colors very closely matching those).  It is by Recollections and is from the Summer Flower collection "Butterfly Wings".

I have just uploaded the photo and it is sideways... I am so sorry but it is aligned properly in my file and I cannot figure out how to turn it on the blog(this has never happened before... sigh).  If anyone can help, please email me.  I really want this to post so I can enter the throwdown... very frustrating.

I hope you enjoy the card, even though it is sideways... hope you don't get a stiff neck.  I've posted it on Splitcoast Stampers and you can see it (in it's proper orientation) here

Thanks for visiting...!

  2. Tee hee, I just saw that you used butterflies on the four little squares, too! I love how you did the ribbon treatment on yours!
