Pink and Frilly and Feminine
Yep... that's what my friend ordered for her 5 year old granddaughter and I hope I pulled it off. I cased a card by one of my Crazy Card Club members, Ronnie Nelson. I thought it was such an adorable little bride card and so I pretty much copied it for my girlie card. I used my heart punch and layered the dress and then hand caut some details - like the arms and bodice. Her little hand-cut arms are a peachy color, as is her back, but it really doesn't show up in the picture very well. I used my new 'hearts' embossing folder (non SU) on whisper white, scalloped the bottom and layered it over some trim left over from a kit. The flowers are done with the boho blossom punch and a few tiny pearls were added. I sure hope she likes it!
Catching rain streaks
Well, going along with my blog name, I feel compelled to add Bailey pics from time to time. As you have no doubt heard, SoCal had quite a bit of rain over the weekend and we loved it. Sorry my desk is such a mess, but one has to be at the ready when Bailey is doing his cute stuff :-)
He was so intent on grabbing those rain streaks - how cute is that? He's always up here in the craft room since he's my #1 Assistant =^..^=
Nap time - who can resist these FLOOFY little jellybean paws.... not me, that's for sure!
I hope you've enjoyed today's blog and are inspired to either adopt a rescue or make a cute card.
Happy Days,
Pat
