Birthday Girl

Hi Friends

This one just screams "Valentine", don't you think?  Well I'm going to make it birthday for my granddaughter.  (!)  I will most likely change the little sentiment above her head but I intend to keep the saying that is in the heart.  This card is a little tricky and, before I send it out, I am going to try to make a template of it.  It's actually a box card which collapses to send in the mail.  The little image pops up when the box is "un-collapsed"... is that even a word?  Well, I think you get my drift anyway.

The stamp is from My Besties and is called "Here's my heart".  The sentiments are from Crafter's Companion and are from the "Love from Bamboo" sayings.  I should have colored the bodice of her dress pink but somehow it got too dark and as a result it became light red.  The problem with that is the jewel heart that she is holding in her hands doesn't show up very well...but it's there.

I think this is the sweetest image and hope you've enjoyed seeing her too.  Tomorrow I'll have another little bear for you... so come on back!
