Jingle all the Way

Hi Friends

Today I want to share a card I made for two challenges.  First, Merry Monday asked us to create a card using either skis, skates, or sleds so I dug out my old faithful "The Wonder" by Penny Black.  I seem to go to this set quite often - the Hedgie images are so cute.  I also am entering this card in this weeks' The Paper Players challenge which says to use a button!  Click HERE to see the other samples at Merry Monday and click HERE to view Paper Players.

I used to really pile on the layers but the trend these days seems to be for more clean and simple cards... it's a habit I'm finding hard to break.  I did use a couple of layers though and the background dsp is from Cosmo Cricket Mitten Weather and the solid cardstock is SU's very vanilla and crumb cake.  I colored my little hedgie with my Copics after stamping him on very vanilla with Memento tuxedo black.  The pink ribbon is from my stash and it's kind of like crepe.  My button is from Stampin' Up.

Well, now I'm off to work (more) on getting those photos ready for this blog.  I want to keep the number down to a few per country... that's what I WANT to do, and I really am going to try... otherwise, I might overwhelm you (like I am) with too many :-).
