Christmas Cards
I looked around and found some that had not been mailed yet. I especially wanted to share the Christmas cupcake card since I was working on it when I did the Cardinals in an earlier post. That was using the Elizabeth Craft peel off stickers. And, of course, what post would be complete without a picture of my assistant with a project.
Here goes....
Here "we" are working on the Festive Flurry kit. I will be ordering the bundle that includes the dies and the stamps for use next year. You never know what's going to be held over for the catalog next year and I really had fun doing these! Don't want to miss out.
FESTIVE FLURRY BUNDLE - wood 133284 - $54.95
FESTIVE FLURRY BUNDLE - clear 133285 - $46.95
I tried to keep this cupcake card pretty simple so the focus was on the glittery cupcake.
This tree stamp is by Impression Obsession and I stamped it on whisper white with Memento Tuxedo black and then colored with my Copics.
Another Impression Obsession stamp. Copic markers are alcohol based pens and it's critical that you use the proper ink for stamping your image. That's why I only use my copics with memento black. Just thought I'd throw that in. Think I sound like that guy from the Dos Equis commercial - LOL. Anyway, all the other ink pads cause the Copics to bleed and smear (not to mention the markers themselves get ruined).
That's about it for today.
I hope you're having fun preparing for Christmas. It's a lot of work but it's all fun work!!!
Check back tomorrow when I'll post the weekly specials. thanks for dropping by :-)
