My October SAS

                                            October Stamp-a-Stack card party

I wanted to get a few friends together for a casual Stampin' Up party.  No pressure, just fun!   A couple of the attendees had never stamped before but I knew they were creative just from being in their homes.  It's funny when people ask about my hobby and then declare that they are not creative... bah humbug!  Sure you are - each and every one of us!

We created five cards, had some lunch, a few door prizes and lots of smiles.

We made this card too - with the 'million and one' stamp set.  I guess I didn't take a picture of the sample but it is in kit form in the catalog called 'simply sent'.  I took the liberty of borrowing Dawn's photo.  The only thing we changed on the cards (and this was my upline, Gail's, idea) was to cut out a piece of cardstock in wild wasabi (or basic grey) slightly larger than the white panel and place it on dimensionals behind the sentiment.  It makes a slight border around the stamped image and also adds dimension.  Thanks Gail, super idea!!!

That's about it today - so happy you stopped by again.
