.
step 1: with Stampin' Up!'s Top Note Bigz Die, punch 4 shapes out of designer paper.
step 2: using the scoring board, line up the two horizontal points of your shape at the 6" mark (as you can see, i made a black line on my board using a permanent marker -- it helps with the alignment).
step 3: using a bone folder, score each piece at the 4-1/4" and 7-3/4" marks.
step 4: crease each fold lines with your bone folder.
step 5: with sticky strip, adhere each folded edge to the next piece -- back sides facing each other.
step 6: here's what you should end up with.
step 7: to make the inside box, cut a piece of CS measuring 11-7/16" X 17-7/16" and score each side at the 4" mark by turning your cardstock each time you score. cut your panel as shown below using a paper trimmer. you'll end up with 4 glue tabs where you'll apply stick strips.
step 8: assemble your box making sure that the glue tabs are on the inside of your box.
step 9: if you've followed the dimensions i just gave you, your box should slide perfectly snug inside your top note sleeve. the sleeve's height is smaller than the box so make sure you align it properly, leave approximately 1/4" at the top and at the bottom. no need to adhere the box to the sleeve since the handle will hold everything together.
step 10: use the leftover strip of CS you got from trimming the piece for your inside box to punch a nice handle with Stampin' Up!' Dotted Scallop Ribbon Border Punch. adhere the handle using brads.
all that's left to do is decorate your little basket and fill with goodies! All of the ingredients can be found in the new catalog (2013 - 2014) with the exception of the designer paper. There is new Halloween designer series paper in the new holiday catalog, which will be perfect.
Don't you LOVE it???
