Flourishes Hummingbird

This little hummingbird from Flourishes seems to think so.  I love using patterned paper... the more the better... but for this image I wanted to keep it simple and just make a color statement.  I used SU's whisper white, in fact, I tend to prefer that cardstock for coloring with my Copics... maybe it's that "slickery" coating but I think it works well.  This was a pretty straightforward card to make... the fun was in the coloring... but I did use my Cuttlebug swirl embossing folder for the lower panel and then a celery satin ribbon and a Martha Stewart edge punch to finish it off.  The sentiment is from Verve's Big Wish set.
