I just love this little cake from Verve's 'Big Wish' set. I wanted to use it today to do my "Mojo Monday on Wednesday" (*grin*) submission. I dunno, I have great intentions to get my Monday cards done on Monday - acutally Wednesday is pretty good for me! This challenge was to make a round or square card following this wonderful sketch...
I colored the cake with Copics and cut it out with circle nesties. I chose Urban Prairie by Basic Grey as the paper - love it! The ribbon is felt and I found it at Michael's one day. I left the flower centers open but it also looks great with pearls as centers. Now that I examine the card I see I used my Cuttlebug a lot on this card. Nestie circles, embossing folder and fancy tags (surrounding the sentiment). I used a set called Winnefred St. by Heidi Grace for my 'make a wish' sentiment... I think it fits the card pretty well. I didn't want to use a birthday sentiment on the front since I used it on the inside. I'll list the ingredients below. Have a great day and thanks for dropping by
Patty
