VLV Mar 2010

I made this card for Viva La Verve's Friday challenge VLVMar2010. If you've never played, I suggest you check it out!  It's fun and you can win wonderful Verve prizes.  This week we had 3 kitchens to choose from as our inspiration. I finally settled on a kitchen with a lot of black granite and a bright green backsplash. I used Verve's "Express Yourself" stamp set. They were stamped with certainly celery with a shading of a bright green and then the heels and soles were colored with black marker. The frame was interesting to do since I had intended to have it punched all the way around. It's apparently a math thing which I didn't want to deal with (right now) so I ended up punching the two sides and the opposite corner. I kind of like it that way... ha ha. Thanks for looking in

Ink: certainly celery, Memento Tuxedo black
Accessories: Offray ribbon, SU! border & corner punch, large oval punch, small circle punch
