Today I've decided to spend more time on this blog and less time playing around in Farmville... wish me luck... that silly game on fb is quite a 'time-sink'. There's a new addition to my ever growing list of addictions (maybe I should say passions) ... this one is Copic markers! Wow... are they fun. In my opinion, there's nothing quite like these alcohol pens. With regular markers you get nice coloration but it is rather opaque. With Copics you get an almost transparent coloring and I love them. Once I started my collection of the Copic sketch markers (just 74 at this point) I had to get these floral images from Flourishes. The set has 12 clear stamps... a different flower for each month of the year ... these are three I've made into cards.The designs are all pretty similar... the fun of making these cards was in the coloring.

Patty, What kind of painting do you do? I thought I had no talent and I would laugh at the thought of me painting. But I have a channel that gets Donna Dewberry shows and I'm getting pretty good at flowers, butterflys , palm trees and well just landscapes. I just love Donna Dewberry One Stroke.
