Fall Festival in Oceanside, CA

Our Fall Festival

Hi Everyone!  Long time no see?  No apologies - I already know if I'm going to take up space on the internet, I need to post.  Well, one 'I'm sorry' won't kill me.  I hope to do better!!!

Last weekend was such a blast.  It was our annual Fall Festival.  There were 7 of us that put together a fabulous stamping extravaganza for almost 50 guests.  We had 4 make n take tables, 6 tables for cards and 2 demonstrations.  We also found time to eat in there somewhere :-)... yummy tacos with all the sides.  I can't forget to mention that everyone went home with a fabulous door prize, too.   It was a lot of work, admittedly, but worth it to see such happy attendees.

Here's some photos of our day................

We call ourselves the Rubba Sistas and we live near San Diego CA.  Our honorary Rubba Sista, Ruth, was taking the picture.  We are (from left) Gail, Wanda, PK2, Pam, Lynette and me, PK1.

Pat with her adorable make n take witches hat.

Pam showed everyone how to make little pillow boxes out of empty toilet paper rolls.... who knew?

I worked with the guests making a box card embellished with the new bow maker die.  They had their choice of Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas. The Christmas theme was the most popular!

Here's our honorary Sista Ruth.  Everyone got to make this darling box with little notecards and envelopes inside.  She showed them, step by step. Wanda demonstrated various uses for the envelope maker - love it.

Pam also made several of these wall hangings using the witches brew designer series paper and had a raffle for them.  Isn't it cute?

Tomorrow I'll be back with pictures of our boards, samples, and the most magnificent display table... awesome!  Be sure and check back.
