PP Layers of Gratitude

Hi Friends

I have a fun one for you today.  The latest Paper Pumpkin is called 'Layers of Gratitude' so I really took them literally and put lots of layers on my card.  I'm really enjoying Paper Pumpkin since I resubscribed.  Not to stress the negative, but I quit about a year ago since I was disappointed with the quality and quantity provided.  Then I started seeing some of the kits on Pinterest and was impressed. I decided to give it another chance.   Stampin Up has really raised Paper Pumpkin to a much higher level.  There is plenty of product to make tons of projects.  Here it is out of the box...

There are enough supplies to make 8 of these thank you booklets and 8 envelopes.  But wait.... see the orange self-stick letters?  Well, you can also use the negative space for 8 more projects... see?

I put a large scrap of my Watercolor Wonder dsp on the used felt and, since there is adhesive all over the felt, it stuck on really well.  Just place this on an elongated card and embellish.  Now you've stretched your supplies to make 16 thank you cards.

I like the card they showed as the sample but wanted to play with it more.  So I dug out some scraps from my Watercolor Wonder dsp, a couple of punches, and proceeded to have a blast.

For some reason, I just "saw" this accordian pleated card as a screen card so I punched the base of each panel with my designer label punch and then used a Fiskars lattice edge punch to decorate the top.  A tiny bit of ribbon, a couple of small butterflies, some stars, rhinestones, and it was done.  And... so much fun!  You don't have to stay with the color palette with the exception of keeping it compatible with the orange felt letters.  Fun, huh?  Here it is closed up...

And in the envelope which I kept plain.

This is a card that is best hand carried as it is not mail-friendly.  But it's so cute, who cares?  You can prop it up on a bamboo skewer and poke it into a thank you basket of flowers, fruit, cookies or cake... etc... the possibilities are endless.   I hope you've enjoyed this (somewhat) long post.

I'll be continuing my Paper Pumpkin subscription and will renew it now during Sale a Bration since the purchase of PP applies to your $50 minimum for freebies... love that!!!

Thanks so much for visiting...  come back soon

{{hugs}}
