Christmas Birthday sets

Hi Friends

I'm sorry I'm a week late in presenting the birthday week celebration!  I could say "where did last week disappear" but I already know.  I spent the majority of the time making the cards that you will see this week.  And "Christmas Birthday sets" might sound like a contradiction in terms but it actually makes some sense.  I've made up 10 birthday/thinking of you/any occasion cards and made little mini magazine holders for each set and they are Christmas gifts.   I hope the recipients will enjoy them.  Who wouldn't like to have cards on hand when an occasion pops up that needs a card, like immediately?
I know I'm guilty of not being prepared for those birthdays that fall right at the first of the month.  I don't notice them until I've turned the page on my calendar... oops ... but I have a feeling I'm not the only one that happens to, right?  So, hopefully these cards will come in handy.

Here are two of the mini magazine holders that I've made and I find they each hold 10 cards and 10 envelopes ... yay.

Here is a video I found on YouTube.  It is by Ashlee Townsend of 'muse my world' .  I want to thank Ashlee so much for this great tutorial.

I have to tell you, I used a template that I already had but wanted you to have clear instructions on how to do this so I searched YouTube to find the video.  I simplified it a bit by using my score board and also fast fuse by Stampin Up rather than the sticky strip.

Big Fat Warning!!!  When I viewed this video I could hear "chirping" in the background... you know, the sound your smoke detector makes when it's battery is low? Well, I freaked because it's such a hassle to change ours. Well, I stopped the video and went all over my house searching for which detector was chirping and didn't hear a thing.

Turns out, the chirping is on the video ... it's not your smoke detectors!!!  Thought I'd warn you, you're welcome :-)

Ok. have fun making these great little card holders and I'll be back tomorrow with more on the cards that I made for the 'Sweet Sorbet' holder ... be sure and come back!

                                                               {{hugs}}
