Kinda Eclectic

                                                               Kinda Eclectic

Hi Friends

Today's card is for the Paper Players challenge.  They are celebrating their 200th challenge! Pretty cool, huh?  To celebrate this milestone, each member of the Design Team selected her favorite challenge from the last two hundred and created a new project for your inspiration. You can see the post here.  I chose Ann Schach's challenge to make a one layer card.  This was definitely a challenge for me ... it's not as easy as I thought!

Here is my card ...

So, I started with the 'blank canvas'  --  the dreaded white nothingness.  I figured using my new 'Kinda Eclectic' would be a breeze.  Well, don't get me wrong, I LOVE this set, but I must admit I had to play around with designs on scrap paper before I was happy enough to commit it to 'the dreaded white nothingness'.  Of course, Bailey made the final decision =^..^=.  The "stamp a ma jig" was the key tool for this card.  I punched out the butterfly (using a post it note) with SU's elegant butterfly punch and stuck it down on my 'still white' card.  I kept it in place while I stamped the leaves and the sunburst.  Then I removed the butterfly 'mask' and, using the 'stamp a ma jig' , I stamped the butterfly in the new Tangelo Twist.  The other colors used on this card are Mossy Meadow (also a new in color), Daffodil Delight, and Pool Party.  My sentiment is from Curly Cute (also retired).

Here is a summary of the recipe....

stamps - Kinda Eclectic, Curly Cute
Paper - whisper white
Inks - Pool Party, Mossy Meadow, Tangelo Twist, Daffodil Delight

That's it for today ... thanks so much for dropping by ... be sure and come back soon.
