Bailey McPuss Christmas 2012

Here's Bailey

I promised you a pictures of Bailey helping me make my Christmas cards.  These were taken on separate occasions.    He's such a love and really doesn't mess stuff up... just wants to be close.  However, as I write this, I hear some Christmas ornaments being batted around downstairs... hmmm.  Better go check that out!!!

Bailey is so happy you stopped by to admire his fluffy self.  Have a great Sunday and come back soon.

Hugs,  Pat

Christmas Cards 2012

Enjoying Christmas

How is everyone doing with their shopping?  I've tried to stay away from the malls and have been cyber shopping but I still have sooooo much to do!!!  I love this time of year but always get a bit overwhelmed... how about you?  I have a living room full of boxes - some are really old and ratty - but they all contain some fun and pretty decorations.  Now I just need to get my butt in gear and put things out.  Bailey (our 1 year old kitty) has been "helping".  This will be his first Christmas with us - we rescued him in April and he's exhausted by the end of the day, after batting stuff all around the house.  Tomorrow I'll post his picture when he was helping me with my cards.

Today I have 3 cards to share with you before they get snuggled in their envelopes to find new homes.  Most of the products are from Stampin' Up.

Have a great day and thanks for the visit!!!  Come back soon.

Christmas Bunco Treats 2012

Yummy Treats

Are you getting excited for the holidays?  I know I am and making cute little projects is one of the main reasons.  I had so much fun making these little matchboxes and, of course, sampling some of the candies.  I'm sure this is not a new idea to many of you - in fact I had quite an exhaustive search looking for this Stampin' Up matchbox die since it is retired.  Always a day late and a dollar short, right?  Oh well, I finally found one and had a blast making these.

I used cherry cobbler and old olive for the boxes and a retired designer series paper (dashing) for the bands and candies. The candies are little Hershey nuggets, yum.  The adorable sentiment is from Bells and Boughs... I love it... and it was punched out using SU's extra large oval punch, which I layered onto the designer label punch.  Can you tell I am obsessed with punches?  The ribbons are all cherry cobbler seam binding which is so silky and easy to tie.  I intend to get more colors since it is "mail friendly" too... it's not bulky at all.  Yay!

Do you love the little mittens?  I used the mitten punch from the Holiday mini which is current until Jan 2.  This punch will become one of my all time favorites (I have that feeling) since you can just grab a few scraps and punch out the cutest little mittens.

Well, that's about it for today.  Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy whatever holiday prep you are doing!!!

Big Hugs,
Pat
