Flourishes Strawberries

Today I want to share a card that I made for both Flourishes Timeless Tuesday (FTTC75) to use some felt on the card, and Jen's Sketch For you to Try.  I started by cutting the bright yellow felt with my new die-namics large scallop die (by My Favorite Things).  I have a Cuttlebug and it cut beautifully.  I ran it through the 'bug twice, but I don't think that was necessary.  I colored the image with Copics which I tried to match to my combo of papers... I used SU!'s retired Summer Picnic and Cosmo Cricket's Garden Variety.  I think they match pretty well, do you?  Because my image was a little larger than Jen's sketch, I had to tweak the design a little.  I used Flourishes 'Strawberry' set for the image and the sentiment is from 'Cherries and Peaches'.  I really love coloring these delightful fruits... totally fun!  My flower is a combo too... the white one is Prima and the yellow is by Daisy Doodles.  I also decided the peaks on the scallops needed a bit of bling so I chose 3 bright rhinestones from Me and My Big Ideas 'Icons'.  That's about it for now... it's starting to get pretty warm up here in my craft room.  The weather guy said we have a heat wave coming.... ugh... thinking it's already here.  Thanks for taking a peek and I'll be back soon!

I think I included all the 'nitty gritties' in the text... see ya later
