Alyson's Baby Shower

Aly's Baby Shower,  March 17, 2018

Family and friends gathered to shower baby Wyatt before he arrives in a couple of weeks.  I had fun making a diaper cake (it takes lots of those tiny things, doesn't it?) and I spent happy times on pinterest getting ideas for little deviled eggs in cradles, baby weiners in puff pastry, and other fun things shown below.  It's been many years since we had a baby around (this is our great grandson) and we couldn't be more excited.  I hope you enjoy the pictures.

little favor gifts for the games

our "theme" for the cake, napkins, plates, etc

aren't these eggs funny?  a slice of little smokies, some olive chips for eyes.... and they tasted yummy too

I ran out of time with these little blanketed piggies... they didn't get eyes..... eeep!

Our gorgeous cake made by my neighbor "cakes by Maddie"... it looked sensational and was just delicious

and "the loot"

We had a great time ... baby stuff is so cute!

Thanks for dropping by

Baby’s first year

Hi peeps

Today I want to share an album I made for my granddaughter who is expecting baby boy Wyatt in early May.  We are so excited.  I was going to wait and surprise her once the baby is here but I couldn’t wait.

I already miss my little book.... isn't that silly?  But I had so much fun making it and each page made me smile, the paper is THAT cute.  It is Echo Park Bundle of Joy Baby Boy and I love it.  The 6 x 6 book was made with white linen paper from Country Craft Creations and the other background papers used are from Stampin Up (pool party, pear pizazz, so saffron) and ribbons are  SU satin.  I used magnets on quite a few pages too.  That's enough chit chat.... enjoy each page .... they are in order.

This was indeed a labor of love and I am hopelessly hooked on making these albums.  If you have any questions, please feel free to use the comments section.  I'd love to hear what you think of our little photo book.

Thanks for visiting

Christmas Album "North Pole Gazette"

Hello there.... and Merry Christmas from our home to yours

Here is the last of my albums that I made this year.  I'm really addicted to making these.  This is paper I picked up at Michaels and decided it would be perfect in a 6 x 6 format.  This album also has six pages with all the flaps, pockets and pull outs imaginable.  Once again, I should have taken the pictures from a further distance so you could see how each page interacts with the others... I did promise to do better next time, right?  These three albums which have been posted have all be delivered to our daughters and one granddaughter so I can't take any more pictures... we'll just have to deal with what I have.

Here we go..... Are you ready, Bailey?  C'mon, lets get to work...

Hope you're inspired to try an album one of these days.... the step-by-step tutorials for making the book and it's pages can be found on YouTube.

Meanwhile, have a very happy holiday season.  And, as always I thank you for visiting my blog.
